This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent/police to provide adequate police protection to erect fencing on the subject property ad-measuring to an extent of 43.97 acres situated in Old Survey Nos.480, 481, 482, 483 and 484, New Survey Nos.335/1, 335/2, 336/1, 336/2 (336/2A, 336/2B), 336/3, 337/1, 338, 339/3, 522/1 and 522/2, Chithravuthan Palayam Village, Dharapuram.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner has filed this petition seeking police protection for fencing his property. It is made clear that police cannot give protection to the individual properties of every citizen. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
