ORDER

(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Karthikeyan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing to the respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 5.8.2016 for issuance of Kurumans S.T. Community Certificate, in the light of Anthropological report dated 18.2.2015.

3. The case of the petitioner is that she belongs to Kurumans (ST) Community and her husband, who resides separately, also belongs to the same community and she submitted her representation on 5.8.2016 seeking issuance of community certificate for her children which is still pending consideration with the authorities. The petitioner further contends that the as per the Anthropological reports the social https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

status of the petitioner and her family members fall within the purview of Kurumans (ST) Community and hence, she is constrained to file the present writ petition.

4. The petitioner is said to have given a representation to consider for issuance of community certificate that her children belong to Kurumans (ST) contending that her community is listed as Serial No.18 of he Tamil Nadu Scheduled Tribes list

Therefore, it is for the respondent authority viz., the Review Divisional Officer, Dharmapuri to do the needful in accordance with law in issuance of community certificate in respect of the petitioner's children based on the State Level Verification Committee's report and also after due enquiry, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
