ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's property comprised in New Natham Survey No.85/A2, measuring 0025 sq.meter and having an area of 208 (1⁄4) sq.ft., as per order in S.A.No.218 of 2019, passed by this High Court dated 22.04.2019.
3. Mr. Abishek Moorthy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that there is nothing to indicate that the petitioner have in fact presented the settlement deed as stated in the affidavit. In any view, petitioner may re-present the Settlement Deed for registration and on such representation the same would be registered if it is otherwise in order
4. In the circumstance, it is open to the petitioner to re-present the Settlement Deed for registration and on such re-presentation the concerned 2/5
respondent is directed to register the Settlement Deed, if it is otherwise in order. If for any reason, registration of Settlement Deed is sought to be refused, the respondents shall issue refusal slip/order assigning appropriate reasons. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.
