ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the complaint dated 06.05.2015 under Sections 420, 468, 471, 120-B, IPC and under the provisions of Land Grabbing Government Order.

2. The petitioners have purchased a land, in S.Nos.269/2, 269/3, 269/4, 271/3A, 271/5A & 271/4B, situated at Aranvoyalkuppam Village, Thiruvallur District, from one https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Kumar. The said Kumar had purchased the said property from one Kallippan @ Kanniappan in the year 1989. After selling the property, one Baby, who is the daughter of the said Kalliappan @ Kanniappan had created a forged patta as if the property is standing in their name and obtained a settlement deed in her favour. With regard to the same, the petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 06.05.2015. But, till date, no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondents.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, C.No.81/2015 has been assigned and the same is pending for enquiry.

5. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 06.05.2015 in C.No.81/2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
