PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner. 2.The grievance of the petitioners is that the second respondent police on the complaint of one Venkatesan and R.Nirmala. The petitioners are the tenants and the said Venkatesan is the manager of the property and the said Nirmala is the land owner of the property. The petitioners had been called for enquiry unnecessarily at odd hours. The petitioners are running fruit stall and juice shop. Due to the harassment, the petitioners are unable to continue their business.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the dispute between the petitioners tenant and the land owner Nirmala. One Venkatesan had lodged a complaint before the respondent police and C.S.R.No.588 of 2021 assigned. The https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioners were called for enquiry, at that time, regarding the above said issue the petitioners herein had filed a civil suit in O.S.No.566 of 2021 pending on the file of the District Munsif, Salem. In view of the above said civil suit, the complaint filed by one Venkatesan is closed on 02.12.2021 and the petitioners are not required for enquiry any more. 4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
