This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.357 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police.

Mr.S.Vinodh Kumar, learned Counsel for Government (Crl.Side) appearing for respondent on instructions submitted that the respondent police after completing investigation, had filed a charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.616 of 2014. The learned counsel further submitted that the trial has already been commenced.

In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication and therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
