O R D E R
The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondent to conduct investigation, to register an FIR based on the complaint dated 07.03.2016 made by the petitioner and to file a final report within a stipulated time.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that even though the complaint was given by the petitioner on 07.03.2016, the respondent has not shown any interest to investigate the matter and to register an FIR. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition for the relief as stated above.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has given a similar complaint against the same accused persons and a case in Crime No.8 of 2016 on the file of All Women Police Station, Egmore, Chennai, has been registered for offences under Sections 498A and 406 IPC.
