The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.06.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections Sections 294(b), 394 r/3 397, 336, 427, 506(ii) of IPC in S.C.No.243 of 2024 on the file of the 1/4

learned XVII Additional District Sessions Judge, Chennai in connection with Cr.No.243 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. It is a jumped bail, the petitioner is knowing about the issuance of non bailable warrant, had surrendered. The case is of the year 2024 . Due to non appearance of this petitioner, there was no progress in the trial.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the case is adjourned for examination of witnesses.

4. Considering the antecedent of this petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition for bail stands dismissed for the present.
