ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed, seeking a direction to Subordinate Court, Thiruvottriyur, to dispose of his petition for divorce filed by the petitioner in HMOP.No.258 of 2022 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Thiruvottriyur, within a stipulated period.

2. Having regard to the limited prayer made in this revision, this Court is inclined to dispose of this revision, even without notice to the respondent.

3. According to the petitioner, he filed a petition for divorce in HMOP.No.38 of 2020 before the Sub-Court, Ponneri and the same was subsequently transferred to the learned Sub-Court, Thiruvottriyur and re-numbered as HMOP.No.258 of 2022.

4. The perusal of the E-Court entry filed in the typed set of papers would suggest the service was completed before the Transferor Court on 27.09.2022, and the same was posted for hearing after completion of service on 03.11.2022.

5. Having regard to the fact that the petition for divorce was originally filed in the year 2020, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the learned Subordinate Court, Thiruvottriyur, to dispose of the OP within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
