This matter was referred to the Lok Adalat and an award has been passed by the Lok Adalat on 14.12.2019. For proper appreciation, the award is extracted hereunder:

' TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submitted that the entire cheque amount was paid, except Rs.10,000/-. He further submitted that the balance amount of Rs.10,000/- will be paid within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. The Revision Petitioner is directed to pay the balance amount of Rs.10,000/- to the respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above terms, this Criminal Revision Petition is closed. Consequently, connected civil miscellaneous petition, if any, is closed.
