ORDER

(The order of the Court was made by J.Nisha Banu,J.) Mr.R.Kumaravel, the learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioners' appeal dated 11.11.2024 filed against the order dated 10.07.2924 passed by the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.2406/2024/A3 on merits within the time limit to be fixed by this Court.

3. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners have filed W.P.No.27957 of 2024 challenging the order passed by the Thasildar and to direct the Thasildar to issue Hindu Bandhi Schedule Caste Community Certificate to the 2nd petitioner, S.Gopinath. In the said writ petition, this Court directed the petitioners to file an appeal before the District Collector, Erode District, within two weeks. The petitioners have also

filed an appeal before the said District Collector, but so far no orders have been passed in the appeal and the same is still pending. Hence, the present writ petition.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, we direct the 1st respondent to pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioners dated 11.11.2024 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
