Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to pass orders on the representation dated 29.7.2016 seeking restoration/re-induction of Agricultural Cooperative Society in the name of Vazhaithottavilasu Co-operative Society at Konguyudayanpalayam Village, Sivagiri Sub-Division, Kodumudi Division on merits and as per law.

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The issue raised is about the relief of restoration of the Society, which has been merged with another Society and this can hardly be the subject matter of public interest litigation.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents, in any case, states that the earlier representations made by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner have been rejected and the representation dated 29.7.2016 has not been received by the respondents. It is always open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation or get the representation dated 29.7.2016 received by the respondents, on which naturally the respondents will take a decision.

3. The writ petition is dismissed with the aforesaid observation. No costs.
