This matter is listed today, under the caption " for extension of time".

2. This Court, by order dated 13.03.2023, had allowed the Civil Revision Petition in CRP.No.3795 of 2022, by directing the Principal District Munsif, Tindivanam to dispose of the O.S.No.18 of 1996, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3. The learned Principal District Munsif, Tindivanam, has addressed a letter dated 19.12.2023 to the Registry seeking extension of time for the reasons stated in the said letter.

4. This Court perused the letter dated 19.12.2023 sent by the learned Principal District Munsif, Tindivanam, and is satisfied with the reasons stated in the letter for not disposing the said O.S.No.18 of 1996, within the time stipulated by this Court in the order in CRP No.3795 of 2022 dated 13.03.2023.

5. Accordingly, this Court grants further time of three months to the learned Principal District Munsif, Tindivanam to dispose of the O.S.No.18 of 1996 from the date of receipt of the communication of this order from the Registry.
