This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent not to harass the petitioner, under the pretext of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the based on a complaint given by one Lakshmi, the third and fourth respondents are harassing the petitioner, under the pretext of enquiry and also asked the petitioner to settle huge amount to her. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that on the complaint received from one Lakshmi, petition enquiry is pending on the file of the respondent police.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances, the fourth respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry in accordance with law, without harassing the petitioner and if any prima facie case is made out against the petitioner, register the F.I.R or close the petition enquiry within a period of four weeks from today.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
