ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 18.12.2015.
2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Dayalan, Murali and Mohan stating that one Muruali, who is the nephew of the petitioner frequently picked up quarrel with the petitioner as the petitioner is supporting the wife of the said Murali. On 18.12.2015, when the petitioner was walking near T.B.Hospital at Chetpet, the said Murali blocked the petitioner and started to beat the petitioner and also threatened him that he will kill the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police and no action has been taken on the said complaint so far. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that earlier the petitioner has given a complaint with the same set of allegations and on receipt of the said complaint, C.S.R.No.10 of 2014 has been assigned. Thereafter, a detailed enquiry was conducted on the said the complaint in CSR.No.10 of 2014 and the same was closed. Now, again with the same set of allegations, the present complaint has been lodged.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the present complaint has been given on the occurrence, which had taken place on 18.12.2015 and thus he sought for a suitable direction.
5. In view of the submission made on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh complaint along with a copy of this order to the respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such complaint, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and dispose of the same in accordance with law.
