The petitioners herein seek a direction to the respondents to consider and pass order on the joint application submitted by them dated 26.06.2023 for transfer of permit in respect of the Stage Carriage vehicle bearing Registration No.TN 55 T 7272 plying on the route Alangayam to Burgur. 2.It is the case of the petitioners that the husband of the 1st petitioner namely J.M.Yahiya was original permit holder of the above mentioned stage carriage. He died on 10.05.2020 leaving behind the 1st petitioner and five children. Later on, his permit was transferred in the name of the 1st petitioner and the said order said to have become final. Now, the 1st petitioner wants to transfer the permit in favour of the 2nd petitioner and they jointly filed an application before the 1st respondent on 26.06.2023 and the same has not been considered by the 1st respondent till date.

3.Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents submits that the application submitted by the petitioners will be considered in accordance with law.

4.In view of the stand taken by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioners dated 26.06.2023, for transfer of permit in respect of stage carriage bearing Registration No.TN 55 T 7272 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks on production of certified copy of this order by the petitioners. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
