O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking to direct the respondent police to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 18.2.2016 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a complaint to the first respondent on 18.2.2016, but the first respondent police had not taken any steps to register a case and hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief. Further, today, he has produced additional typed set of paper containing Accident Register dated 19.2.2016 and submitted that as soon as the occurrence, he was admitted in hospital and in the Accident Register Copy, it was mentioned that the petitioner was assaulted by a known person. 3. At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that it is a property dispute between the brothers and now both parties have agreed to compromise the matter and on that basis the complaint was closed and he has also produced a closure report to that effect.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, since the complaint was closed as the matter was compromised between the parties, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
