ORDER

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent to alter/implead the offences under Sections 302 and 306 IPC in Crime No.10 of 2016, take appropriate action as per law, direct the respondent to monitor and to investigate the matter.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the mother of deceased Priya, who is the wife of one Raja and she was aged about 20 years, committed suicide on 25.01.2016 in the suspicious manner and died on 26.01.2016. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint and based upon the same, a case has been registered in Crime No.10 of 2016 for offence under Section 174 Cr.P.C. He further submits that thereafter, the respondent has not taken any action against the proposed accused namely, John, S/o.Ponnusamy, Meganathan, S/o.Muniyodan and Suganthi, wife of Jeyapaul. Therefore, she has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief stating that the proposed accused have abeted the petitioner's daughter to commit suicide.

3.At this juncture, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that after inquest, the provision of law was altered into Section 306 IPC and that investigation is going on. 4.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent is directed to investigate the matter and the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police is directed to monitor the investigation, which will meet out the ends of justice. 5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
