Respondents PRAYER : The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2023 seeking to mutate the Revenue records in the patta for the lands comprised in Old Survey No.423/2 in New Survey No.423/5 to an extent of 2 acres 92 cents situated at Madura Padavanoor Village, Jollarpet Post, Yellagiri Mount, Thirupathur District and consequently, direct to issue fresh patta in the petitioner's name.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2023 and pass orders.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was issued Darakastu patta thirty years ago. From then, she is in possession and enjoyment of the property and she is paying the taxes regularly. The Government was asked to issue patta to the land which is enjoyed by the petitioner. He further submitted that due to bifurcation of the District, it was reclassified as banned for registration. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that due to bifurcation of District, they lost the document and they are not considering the petitioner's representation and prayed to issue a positive order in this writ petition.
4.I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.07.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, by issuing notice to the petitioner and rival claimants if any and also give an opportunity to them, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
