The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 6(4) of the TNSC (RDCS) Order 1982 read with Section 7(1)(a)(ii) of the E.C. Act 1955 on the file of the respondent police, in Crime No. 45 of 2016 and seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated in this case on the allegation that he was found in possession of PDS rcie, and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submitted that the petitioner has been implicated in this case on the allegation that who was found in possession of 2,000 kgs of PDS rice and the earlier petition filed by the petitioner was dismissed as withdrawn on 17.03.2016 in Crl.O.P.No. 4348 of 2016 and the petitioner is having one previous case.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Petition is dismissed.
