The Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent-Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.90 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent-Police in accordance with law within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-Police, on instructions, submitted that investigation in Crime No.90 of 2025 is over and charge sheet has been filed through e-filing vide No.LTN20220002398C2025000374 dated 28.07.2025 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kallakurichi.

4. Since the second respondent-Police had already completed the investigation and filed the final report before the learned Magistrate concerned, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Therefore, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
