O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to issue patta in his name in respect of the property comprised in Old S.No.409, New S.Nos.75/2A and 75/2C, situated at Veeracholapuram Village, Kangayam Taluk, Tiruppur District, by considering his online application dated 22.07.2024 and representation dated 12.08.2024.

According to the petitioner, the petitioner claims right over the above mentioned property under Settlement Deed registered as Document No.626/1993 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Kangayam. The petitioner submitted an online application dated 22.07.2024 seeking issuance of patta in his name and the same has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, a written representation was made on 12.08.2024 and the same was also not considered. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondent would submit that the representation of the 2/4

petitioner will be decided by the respondent on its own merit and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the online application dated 22.07.2024 and representation dated 12.08.2024 submitted by the petitioner and pass final orders on its own merit and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
