The petitioner, who is arrayed as sole accused, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 18.02.2016 for the alleged offences punishable under sections 341, 294(b), 324, 332 and 307 IPC, in Crime No.228 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused due to depression has inflicted injuries with Scissor on the passer of the Road and the same was informed to the respondent police. The Sub Inspector came to rescue the victim and he was also attacked by the accused.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the parents of the petitioner have died long back, so he was taken care of by his grandmother and due to depression, he is said to have caused injury on the victim. It is further submitted that he is i n judicial custody for more than 42 days and now, his relative, who is an Advocate, is ready to take care of him.

4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.

6. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvotriyur, and on further condition that the petitioner shall stay at Chennai and report before Inspector of Police, Kilpauk Police Station, daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders. 3 0. 0 3. 2 0 1 6 v s g Crl.O.P.No. 6 8 0 0 of 2 0 1 6
