This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent not to interfere with the petitioner's lawful business.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that there exists a civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent in respect of the running of the petrol bunk. According to the petitioner, he is in possession of the said petrol bunk and the second respondent is interfering in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent, attempting to evict the petitioner on the basis of a complaint given by the third respondent. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that based on the complaint given by the third respondent alleging that the petitioner is refusing to vacate the premises, a CSR.No.194 of 2025 has been registered on the file of the second respondent. 2/4

5. At the outset, this Court finds that the entire issue appears to be a civil dispute with regard to the possession of the petrol bunk, which is to be adjudicated before the competent civil court. Therefore, the respondent Police is directed not to interfere in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent, except in the event of any law and order issue arising therefrom, which may warrant initiation of criminal proceedings.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
