ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint dated 19.09.2022 and file final report in Crime No.0183 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of the second respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No.0183 of 2022 on 12.08.2022, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Public Prosecutor (Pondicherry) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent has registered the FIR in Crime No.0183 of 2022 , in which the investigation is under progress. Hence, he seeks three months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the same, the second respondent police is directed to file final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
