ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to consider the representation of the petitioner requesting them not to permit the respondents 5 to 9 from displaying the Vinayagar idol for sale in his street, which is a narrow 15 feet lane.

According to the petitioner, unauthorized sale of Vinayagar idol during the Vinayagar Chathurthi festival been conducted by the private respondents causing disturbance to the public. 3.

The address of the private respondents also seems to be the same street of the petitioner herein and therefore, the prayer sought by 2/4

the petitioner preventing the co-residence of the same street from displaying the Vinayagar idol cannot be granted. However, any such display either for sale or exhibition, shall be without causing any disturbance to the general public and the respondent police shall henceforth to ensure that the activity of the private respondents no way disturb the privacy and the right of the petitioner having free ingress and egress to his residence.

In the view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
