ORDER
(1)Mr.P.Srinivas, learned Standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of both the learned counsels, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. Notice to the 2 nd respondent is dispensed with.
(2)The writ petition is filed by the petitioner for issuance of a mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2024 and to take appropriate legal action against the 2 nd respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.
(3)The petitioner states that the 2 nd respondent is her brother and he was allowed to reside in a portion of the property belonging to the petitioner for the purpose of eking out his livelihood. However, the 2 nd respondent was doing meat selling business in the said property in the name and style as ''Elahi Mutton and Chicken Centre'' without the petitioner's permission. As the 2 nd respondent was conducting the said business without proper license from the authorities, the petitioner and other local residents approached the 1 st respondent and submitted petitions to stop the illegal activities of the 2 nd respondent. As no action was taken, the petitioner submitted a representation on 13.12.2024. Even thereafter, no action was taken. Therefore, the petitioner was constrained to file the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.
(4)Heard the learned counsels on either side and also perused the materials placed on record.
(5)Under the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited prayer in the writ petition, a direction is issued to the 1 st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2024 on
merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
