O R D E R
This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.1327/2014 on the file of the respondent police and file a final report within the time as fixed by this Court.
2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has lodged a complaint and the same was registered in Crime No.1327 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 447, 506(ii) IPC read with Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act. But the respondent has not shown any interest to investigate the same and file a final report. Therefore, he has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.
3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation is going on and hence, he prays for three months time to complete the investigation and file a final report. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.Considering the submissions made on both sides, on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, after due enquiry, the case in Crime No.1327 of 2014 has been registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 447, 506(ii) IPC read with Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act. Therefore, the respondent police is directed to investigate the matter as expeditiously as possible and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
