This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to give permission and protection to conduct the Thiruvizha for petitioner family deity "Sriman Narayanasamy Temple"on 10.09.2023 and 11.09.2023 as per complaint dated 18.08.2023.
2. Heard Mr.S.Bhuvaneswaran, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents.
3. The relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court since the cause of action is at Madurai and hence, the writ petition has to be filed before the Madurai Bench of this Court. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with 2/4
liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition before the Madurai Bench of this Court. No costs.
