.. Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to demolish the illegal construction and the iron plates put up by the third respondent preventing access to Door No.226 at Purasawakkam High Road.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The dispute pertains to the building existing at Door No.226, Purasawakkam High Road, where some unauthorized construction is alleged to have been carried out and even inspection of the site was done.

2. We are of the view that a comprehensive inspection be carried out to ensure that the building is in accordance with the planning permission and any unauthorized construction in the same be removed in accordance with law.

3. The comprehensive inspection be carried out within 15 days and thereafter action in accordance with law be taken after notice to all concerned within a maximum period of two months.

4. Insofar as the specific allegation of the iron plates is concerned, the same be attended to within the next two days. The petition stands disposed of accordingly. Consequently, W.M.P.No.32158 of 2016 is closed.
