O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to forthwith conclude the inquiry and pass final orders on the charge memo, dated 13.08.2021.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that, at the verge of his retirement, he was placed under suspension on 25.01.2018 and was not permitted to retire on 31.01.2018 by the 2nd respondent. Subsequently, the petitioner was issued with a charge-memo, dated 13.08.2021, for certain irregularities alleged to have been committed by the petitioner in the year 2014. According to the petitioner, he has submitted his detailed explanation on 27.05.2022. It is the grievance of the petitioner that, though Enquiry Officer was appointed on 12.08.2022 and enquiry was also conducted on 28.09.2022, no final orders have been passed so far in the departmental proceedings, based on the Enquiry Report. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition for directions. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.E.Vedabagath Singh, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

4.Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the writ petition, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass final orders on the disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioner pursuant to the charge-memo, dated 13.08.2021, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
