Hanusri and 2.U.Vijay Ragav that they belong to Kurichchan (ST) Community based upon the community certificate already issued to the petitioner and his family members.

(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Karthikeyan, learned Government Advocate, who is directed to take notice on behalf of the respondent

2. The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to issue community certificate to the petitioner's children viz. 1.U. Hanusri and 2.U.Vijay Ragav that they belong to Kurichchan (ST) Community based upon the community certificate already issued to the petitioner and his family members.

3. The case of the petitioner is that she belongs to Kurichchan (ST) Community and he holds community certificate which was issued after due enquiry and his family members viz., his father and sister also hold such community certificate and such being the case, the application submitted to the authority for issuance of such community certificates for his children is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

not considered and hence, he is constrained to file the present writ petition.

4. According to the petitioner, the application filed by him one year ago is still pending consideration for issuance of community certificate to the effect that his children belong to Kurichchan (ST) Community and both the children of the petitioner are very much in need of the community certificate.

5. Therefore, it is for the respondent authority to do the needful by verifying and pass appropriate orders regarding issuance of community certificate, in accordance with law, within one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The authority is also at liberty to call for all the relevant documents and even with respect to any certificate if so needed. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
