The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the petitioner has already retired and not holding the post.

2. The writ petition has been filed against the Note Order passed by the Office of the Speaker, Puducherry Legislative Assembly, Puducherry.

3. In view of the fact that the petitioner has already retired, the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter.

4. This being the factum, no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected

miscellaneous petition is closed.
