..Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to modify the 'Order of Acquittal' as 'Honorable Acquittal' in C.C.No.199/2015, dated 18.02.2016, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Panruti, Cuddalore District, with respect to this petitioner alone.

ORDER

The limited grievance of the petitioner that the present Criminal Original Petition is to declare the Judgment of Acquittal dated 18.02.2016 passed in C.C.No.199 of 2015 as an Honorable Acquittal.

2.On a perusal of the judgment, it is seen that while passing the Judgment of Acquittal, the Trial Court had taken https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

into consideration that P.W.1 and P.W.2 had turned hostile and insofar as other witnesses are concerned, they are official witnesses. By taking into consideration all these aspects, the Judgment of Acquittal has been passed. As such, the Judgment of Acquittal in C.C.No.199 of 2015 can only be deemed to be an Honorable Acquittal.

3.With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
