Respondents Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience and violation of the order dated 29.02.2024, passed in W.P.No.5092 of 2024 on the file of this court. ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 29.02.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.5092 of 2024, thereby directing the respondents to disburse the retirement benefits such as gratuity, pension and other attendant benefits to the petitioner with applicable interest, within a period of twelve weeks.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent submitted that at the time of disposing the writ petition, it was inadvertently submitted before this Court that there was audit objection and it has now been cleared. Therefore, this Court granted all the benefits to the petitioner. However, on the date of hearing, there was an illegality committed by the petitioner and as such the petitioner was served with charge memo and also proceeded with disciplinary proceedings. Further the fourth respondent also filed Review Petition to review the order dated 29.02.2024 and the same is pending.
