Mr.Sampath Kumar & Associates COMMON ORDER This writ petition challenges the impugned Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Second Amendment) Scheme 2000, S.O.934 (E) published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, in Par-II-Sec(11) dated 17.10.2000 as illegal and violative of Article 14 and Article 19(1)(c) of the Constitution of India.
2. Having regard to the nature of the relief sought for and the long pendency without any prosecution of the matter, the inference is that, the relief sought for in this writ petition would have become infructuous.
3. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there is no instruction from the petitioner and therefore, he seeks further time to get instructions.
4. But, having regard to the nature of the relief sought for, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, with liberty to revive, if there is any grievance for the petitioner. No costs.
