Crl.OP No.6896 of 2016 K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.

The petitioners, who are arrayed as A1 and A2, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for alleged offences punishable under Sections 436 IPC, in Crime No.131 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 29.02.2016 at about 10.30a.m, the accused, by wearing Helmet, thrown explosive materials on the vehicle of the defacto complainant.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that even according to the defacto complainant, the accused, at the time of occurrence, were wearing Helmet and there is no material to connect these petitioners with this crime No.131 of 2016 and it is further submitted that they belong to Palani Area and now, they are working in Thiruppur District.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners stating that the accused have used explosive substances while attacking the defacto complainant. Therefore, they are not entitled for anticipatory bail.

5. Considering the fact that the offences alleged against the petitioners are grave in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
