ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as the Headmaster of the Anniyalam Panchayat Union Middle School, Thally Panchayat Union, Hosur Taluk Krishnagiri District by considering the petitioners representation dated 21.08.2023.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he was promoted as School Head Master on 08.08.2017. Thereafter, the said school was upgraded as a Government High School. Therefore, the petitioner and others have been upgraded to BT Assistants. Thereafter, similarly situated person one Varalakshmi was promoted as Head Mistress on account of vacancy 2/5

arose. Hence, as the petitioner is also a similarly situated person, he is also entitled for promotion. In this regard, he has already given a representation to the respondents 21.08.2023. Hence, seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass Orders on the same.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has to submit his representation through proper channel and if the such representation is submitted, the same will be considered on its own merits.

4. In view of the submissions of the learned special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the petitioner shall submit his representation through proper channel and on such representation being made, the second respondent shall consider the representation and pass Orders on the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of representation from the petitioner. 3/5

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 08.09.2023 Index:Yes/No vrc To,
