This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein to receive the Demand Draft No.231567 & 231429, a total sum of Rs.2,28,401/- towards monthly statutory levy charges and grant permission to continue the business in existing Tasmac Bar attached with Tasmac Shop No.4538 situated at Parveli Lane Uthiramerur Panchayat, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

Heard Mr.B.Crimson, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Nedunchezhian, learned Standing Counsel accepting notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for disposal.

2.Th petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to receive the Demand Draft No.231567 & 231429, a total sum of Rs.2,28,401/- towards monthly statutory levy charges and grant permission to continue the business in existing Tasmac Bar attached with Tasmac Shop No.4538 situated at Parveli Lane Uthiramerur Panchayat, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. 3.It is submitted by Mr.B.Nedunchezhian, learned Standing Counsel appearing for TASMAC, on instruction that the shop in question viz. shop No.4538, has been closed.

4.Hence, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P. is closed.
