O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the third respondent police to register the First Information Report based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 22.07.2014 pending before the third respondent.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint before the third respondent police as against one Shanmugasundaram. But, till date no action was taken by the third respondent police on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the complaint lodged by the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner was registered by the third respondent police, in Crime No.157 of 2014 for the alleged offences under sections 294(b), 341 and 506(i) IPC.

4. Since a case was already registered on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, the prayer has been made in the present petition has become infructuous. Hence, the criminal original petition is closed.
