When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioners as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves. They also produced their identity proofs before this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that pending proceedings in C.C.No.7925 of 2017 on the file of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioners have amicably settled the issue among themselves and the de-facto complainant has also filed a joint compromise memo dated 12.09.2019 stating that they have no objection if the proceedings in C.C.No.7925 of 2017 on the file of the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet is quashed. 4.Recording the statements made by the defacto complainant and the petitioners in the joint compromise memo filed by them dated 19.09.2019, the entire proceedings in C.C.No.7925 of 2017 on the file of the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
