ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to provide suitable appointment on the ground of compassionate appointment based on the petitioner's representations dated 10.09.2014, 14.10.2015, 21.12.2016, 27.01.2022 and 22.07.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner's husband died while in service as a Driver with the second respondent Transport Corporation. He died in the year 2014. The petitioner has given several representations referred to supra, seeking for compassionate appointment. Since the representations have not been considered till date, she has filed this writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.G.Pugazhenthi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.L.S.M. Hassan Fizal, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent . By consent of both the parties, the main writ petition has been taken up for final disposal.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representations dated 10.09.2014, 14.10.2015, 21.12.2016, 27.01.2022 and 22.07.2022, seeking for compassionate appointment on account of her husband R. Chandran's death while in service in the year 2014 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
