Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus,directing the respondents 1 to 7 to conduct enquiry, take appropriate departmental action for recovering the loss to the Muthur Town Panchayat due to the irregularities committed by the 10th respondent acting as officer of the 8th and 9th respondent immediately by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2019, 13.08.2019 and 26.08.2019.

O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 7 to conduct enquiry, take appropriate departmental action for recovering the loss to the Muthur Town Panchayat due to the irregularities committed by the 10th respondent acting as officer of the 8th and 9th respondent immediately by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2019, 13.08.2019 and 26.08.2019.

2.Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has filed the present petition alleging irregularities committed by the officials of the Muthur Town Panchayat. The petitioner is no way affected by the action of the officials. Therefore, this petition is not maintainable. 4.The petitioner is a local resident. Only in the public interest, he has made allegations as against the officials of the Muthur Town Panchayat and seeks action against the 10th respondent. Hence, this writ petition is not maintainable before this Court.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file appropriate petition before the appropriate forum.
