By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner was appointed as Guest Faculty at the first respondent University in the History and Tourism Department from the year 2017 to 2019 on a temporary consolidated pay. The 1st respondent also issued a Teaching Experience Certificate to the petitioner for the period from 2017 to 2019 for the purpose of applying for the post of Assistant Professor in the 1st respondent university and also in other universities. While so, the 1st respondent issued a notification inviting eligible

candidates for walk-in-interview for filling up vacancy of Guest Faculty in the Department of History and Tourism for the academic year 2019-2020. The petitioner along with few others attended the interview held on 08.07.2019 and the results were published on 10.07.2019 and one Dr.Meera was employed as Guest Faculty in the Department of History and Tourism at the 1st respondent University for the academic year 2019-2020. According to the petitioner that said Dr Meera did not even attended the interview for the post of Guest Faculty. Though the petitioner sought for information under RTI, the same has not been provided. Therefore, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the Appellate Authority and the same is pending. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation to the 1st respondent on 11.07.2019. Though, the representation was received by the 1st respondent on 12.07.2019, the same has not been considered. Hence, the present petition.

3.Heard both sides.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, it would suffice if a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2019 and pass orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents acceded to request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 6.Thus, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to issue direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

7.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
