The present Miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 119 days in filing this Criminal Appeal against the judgment in C.A.No.339 of 2018 on the file of the XX Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai acquitting the respondent / accused reversing the judgment passed in C.C.No.14162 of 2008 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track CourtII, Allikulam, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent has no objection for this petition being allowed.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the main case for admission.
