The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 18.07.2023 for the offences punishable under Section 341, 294 (b), 323, 336, 397 and 506 (ii) I.P.C, in Crime No.257 of 2023 on the file of the respondent, seek bail.

2.It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is falsely implicated as accused in Crime No.257 of 2023 for the offence under Section 341, 294 (b), 323, 336, 397 and 506 (ii) I.P.C. Petitioner is in judicial custody from 18.07.2023. Thus, he prays for grant of bail.

3.In response, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on 18.07.2023 at about 10.30 a.m., defacto-complainant was doing business in his shop, accused Logu/petitioner and Basha had come to the shop and had consumed fruits. When defacto-complainant demanded money, they scolded him in filthy language and also taken Rs.500/- from his pocket by showing knife.
