The petitioner seeks police protection from the 4th respondent who intimidating the petitioner herein to part away the property which is inherited by the petitioner from her ancestor. 2.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 23.08.2024 & 29.08.2024. The enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed as civil dispute. The 4th respondent was advised to work out his remedy through civil Court and had recorded that the partition suit in O.S.No.72 of 2022 is pending between the parties before the Sub Court, Gobichettipalayam. 3.

In the light of the above fact, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent police, in case of any commission of crime is reported in this regard, shall investigate the same in the manner known to law, after ensuring that the dispute is not purely civil in nature.
