ORDER

The Petitioner in the contempt petition, had filed a writ petition in W.P.No.24183 of 2009 for issuing a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the land situated in S.No.574 (62 acres) S.No.707 (62 acres S.No.231 (7.58 acres) (totally 131.58 cents) situated at Sholinganallur Vilage, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2.This Court by order dated 07.12.2009 disposed of the writ petition in W.P.No.24183/2009, in the following lines : ''Hence, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 31.08.2009, in accordance with law, following the procedure contemplated under the relevant rules and after affording reasonable opportunity to all parties concerned, within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.''

3.This contempt petition is filed alleging the disobedience of the order passed in W.P.No.24183/2009 dated 07.12.2009. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, on instructions, states that the representation of the petitioner dated 31.08.2009 2/3

was considered and an order has been passed by the respondent on 18.03.2010.

5. Since the representation of the petitioner has been considered and an order has been passed by the respondent on 18.03.2010, the same is in compliance with the direction of this Court. Therefore, this Court does not find any disobedience, much less wilful disobedience, of the order passed in W.P.No.24183/2009 dated 07.12.2009.

6.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent reporting compliance, this Contempt Petition is closed. No Costs.
