of 500 sq.ft in Survey No. 235/1B (Part) and an extent of 1900 sq.ft in Survey No. 227/1 (part) in favour of the petitioner pursuant to his representation dated 1.09.2022 within a time frame stipulated by this court. The petitioner has filed this petition for issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to issue patta for the subject land in favour of the petitioner pursuant to his representation dated 1.09.2022.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 01.09.2022 and pass appropriate orders in terms of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, 1983, within a stipulated time frame.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that an enquiry has been conducted on the application of the petitioner and appropriate orders will be passed within a stipulated time frame.
4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondents to conclude the enquiry on the application of the petitioner dated 01.09.2022 for issuance of patta in the manner known to law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above terms.
