ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed to direct 1st respondent to assign light duty to the petitioner, restore his earned leave and pay salary from 1.06.2024 to till date.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, for claiming light duty, the petitioner had given a representation on 23.02.2025. She further submits that he is suffering from 60% disability, that he was not referred by the respondent to the medical board and that light duty was also not allotted to him.

3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents would fairly submit that they did not receive any representation. If such representation is received, they will consider it and pass final orders within reasonable time.

4. In such view of the above, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the petitioner to 2/4

submit his representation within a period of two (2) weeks. On receipt of such representation, the respondents shall pass orders within a period of four (4) weeks, based on its own merits and in accordance with law.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
